Can I bury the tubing?
Yes... Tubing may be buried underground or under decorative covering, such as wood chips or pine straw. However, emitters must be above ground or under decorative covering such as wood chips or pine straw. They cannot be buried under soil.
Can I leave it in place year-round?
Yes. Raindrip drip watering systems are permanent and should be left in place. In areas subject to freezing, the system may need to be drained at the end of each season.
How long will it last?
Raindrip tubing and emitters can last up to 15 years, even with year-round, daily use. In the U.S., most people move before their drip watering system wears out.
Can I connect to a garden hose?
Yes! Connect to the end of any typical garden hose to reach remote areas of your yard. Stop standing around spraying water; go enjoy life and let Raindrip water for you.
Can I connect to my sprinkler system?
Yes! Connect to any standard sprinkler riser (the part sticking out of the ground) with an adapter or conversion device.
Can I connect to my outdoor faucet (hose bib)?
Yes! With hose-threaded adapters, you can connect to virtually any standard faucet.
Can I use Raindrip products indoors?
No. We do not recommend or warranty indoor use.
Can I use a timer?
Yes! Raindrip sells both analog and digital timers that connect easily and automate your system. We highly recommend using a timer to avoid over-watering or accidentally forgetting to water.
